hair – not harley
Well people, the time has come where we must say goodbye to a dear dear friend. The uber popular madmen style hair do’s of the 50’s and 60’s have officially become tired and overdone. Sorry to those of you who have completely redone your homes in midcentury modern motif to match your perfectly coifed locks, but when every other hipster walking down mission in San Francisco looks like a Draper-bot – it’s time to throw in the towel. I know it’s going to be hard, but it’s time.
So what’s next? After any period of conservative buttoned-up-edness, a rennaissance of relaxed and rebelious fun must bubble. Expect the trend in mens hair to return to the short and messy surf inspired looks of the late 60’s and 70’s. Follow your hairs natural growth patterns and allow the flow to frame your face. The overall feel is relaxed and casual while still being versatile enough to rock with a suit. Think of it this way – with what you’ll save in palmade you can buy a couple extra rounds at the surf shack you’ll no doubt be hanging out at. Now go on people, chop it off.
