Dan and Dean of DSquared2 took some styling liberty in their latest show – taking some serious fashion no-no’s and some how making them not only work – but look pretty darn cool. The look is to take fitted denim or chinos – preferably weathered and to tuck the end of the pant into oversized sport socks layered over heavy mid top or high top boots. The combination of layers and textures somehow makes this look work in a highland – sportsman kind of way. In order to pull this off make sure that your socks are premium thick and have some esthetic quality to themselves as well. Stick to muted colors with minimal trim. As for the pant, it needs to be slim and not bubble or misshape once tucked. Finally the shoe is of most importance. They should be worth drawing attention toward. Don’t try this with your beat ass pair of new balances – please. Other than that, have at it and wow your friends with your fashion ingenuity. I promise I won’t tell anyone where you got it.
