did not disappoint.
I had the honor of styling and producing this year’s Fashion’s Night Out at Pavilions. I had an amazing team of people. Libby Siino and Jessica Biller, you rock my world. Working with Donahue Schriber and its tenants at Pavilions could not have been a better experience. Madam Butterfly, Calla Lily, Patrick James, Hamilton Jewelers, Franco Ferrini Shoes, Pavilion Salon Shoes, Williams-Sonoma, Khakis, Daitaro, Lucy, Piatti, Ruth’s Chris, Bella Bru, & Julius Clothing were all participants in this year’s event.
Everyone was passionate about one thing, bringing old and new faces to the shopping complex that at one point was THE place to shop in Sacramento. Well, folks, it still is and FNO at Pavilions proved just that.
It was lovely seeing faces from all walks of life, all professions, all backgrounds out with smiles on their faces and a pocket full of possibilities.
The commerce that evening was on fire and the overall vibe was one of relief… a relief that people had not given up on the retail community at large. The message was clear: Small Businesses Matter. Boy, do they ever.
That evening will forever remain one of my favorite memories of all time, watching my 40 local celebrity models walking an absurdly long 170 foot runway like they owned it. Sacramento’s Mayor Kevin Johnson, E! Fashion Emergency’s Brenda Cooper and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte all graced the stage this past Thursday. It was a fabulous night full of fabulous people and fabulous clothing… and guess what? People shopped and shopped. Mission accomplished. UC Davis Children’s Miracle Network was the beneficiary of the FNO after party, grossing upwards of $14, 000 in VIP runway ticket sales.
Fashion’s Night Out at Pavilions was a smashing success. Models wore the hottest in Fall fashion and donned everything from neon nail polish, embellished tights in leopard and turquoise to ascots and beaded loafers. Enjoy some photos from our talented photog, Lauri Levenfeld of Zoom Photography. See you all next year!
