sister|brother and zoom photography = the perfect marriage!

LAURI LEVENFELD. THE ARTIST AND PHOTOG EXTRAORDINAIRE!

literally. 😉

Those that know us, know we are HUGE fans of the talented, Lauri Levenfeld of Zoom Photography. She is an uber talent of colossal proportions and we have been blessed to work with her on various projects as of late (Some of our most treasured, in fact), including our mah-jor Style Me Pretty shoot that was featured June 10th. She has also collaborated with sister on some Kidaround editorial projects. We like that we can look one another in the eye and make magic happen without saying a word. It’s quite cosmic, actually.

Lauri specializes in many things, but her laundry list of expertise includes weddings, babies, portraits and lifestyle, fashion, food, and travel.

“I honed my captivating storytelling skills at the top-rated USC Film School, and my documentary film work has seamlessly translated into a passion for still photography. My obsession with weddings and babies happened over ten years ago, when I realized I could work with people I love to create unique memories with quirky cameras and distinctive film.

I’m honored that San Francisco Magazine selected me as the “Bay Area’s Best Wedding Photographer, and I was named the “Couture Wedding Favorite” by 7×7 Magazine. I’m also a member of Style Me Pretty’s Little Black Black Book and Destination Favorites.”

– Lauri Levenfeld

Lauri has traveled to sites such as Cuixmala and New Zealand for weddings and photographed celebrities such as Hilary Clinton, Sharon Stone, Uma Thurman, and Danny Glover. Um, hello?!

She is also trained as cinematographer and photographer at USC and spent years working in documentaries. Her first with Nelson Mandela. Pick your jaw up, I know…

She’s an ingenue in this industry and we love that about her and look forward to our next shoot! We heart you, Lauri Levenfeld. Check out a sample of her work below. It’s amaze!
